DAY 1: SUN 6:45am Bus Co Load! 7:30am EC Target store load! 8:00an Osseo McDonalds the last pickup! Anticipation is running high as our Chippewa Trails Motorcoach gets on the way! Today is our get acquainted day! We do not have baggage handling at this hotel, pack accordingly! We only need our carry on the first nite! DAY2: MON- Historic Deadwood, on our new chosen route 44 thru the Badlands arriving via Canyon Rd, in time for a one hour wine & cheese reception in Callahan’s Saloon, while our luggage is delivered to our rooms, our home for the next 2 nights, at the Historic Franklin Hotel tele #1-605-578-2241 the keys & breakfast included + buffet coupons + many promo prizes, during the reception! You will be free for the rest of the evening for explorations!

DAY3: TUES The whole day can be spent doing whatever you would like to do, take a trolley & tour the town or walk over to the orientation center across the street & see a free movie, on Historic Deadwood!

or go on a self guided walking tour to Mt. Morriah Cemetery, among the legends of Deadwood that “rest” here are: Wild Bill Hickock, Calamity Jane, & Potato Creek Johnny! There is so much to do here! Enjoy your walk thru the past in Historic Deadwood or go on Motorcoach 10:00am this tour is optional, let your tour guide know if you would rather stay in Historic Deadwood. We are heading for more mountains! Stavkirk, the sights today are fabulous, the Indian name for Black Hills is “Pahasapa”, after spending the day in the Mountains, viewing the scenic passes, Lake Pactola, lunch on your own at “Laughing Waters” Crazy Horse , Custer State Park, where the buffalo roam, we will travel to Mt Rushmore, we can watch the ”faces” as we enjoy a delicious evening meal at the Cafeteria, this is an awesome experience! (bring a warm jacket).

DAY 4: Wed: The route this year will take us thru Heartland today, as we travel eastward thru South Dakota, our included lunch will be at The Pioneer Auto Museum. (They also have a wonderful gift store & restaurant)!
